Some are easy, some are pretty tough but one common denominator is the fact that not everybody goes the distance. A buddy of mine's "no more pot" resolution lasted exactly 15 hours. Midnight to 3pm. (I think that may be a record.)
Marfa, Texas is a very haunted place, way out in the southwest Texas desert where it's super dark, super remote and home to all kinds of weirdness. Not to mention the famous Marfa Mystery Lights and, now, the Marfa Mystery Traffic Light.
There are some things though that are very polarizing in El Paso, things that peeps draw a firm line through where it's either "hell yeah" or "F no". Here are, I think, the top 3:
Every now and then, someone starts up that crazy, "New Mexico should annex El Paso" BS; insisting that it would be better for both El Paso and the 505. So, if that's the case, how'd we wind up in Texas anyway?
Texas, (according to the Texas Tribune), is one of the top 6 pumpkin producing states, (in 2021, we grew 108 meeeeellion pounds of those suckers), and most of them came from one of our smallest towns.
A new WalletHub study just ranked all 50 of the United States of America in terms of happiness and Texans are apparently just kinda "meh" on the subject.
