It's Rehab for CHARLIE SHEEN. He laughed so hard he had to go to the hospital. Now he is in Rehab. I guess no more 2 and a Half Men for a while.

In what appears to be the inevitable conclusion to his recent misadventures, CHARLIE SHEEN has entered rehab. His publicist told ABC News on Friday, "Charlie Sheen has voluntarily entered an undisclosed rehabilitation center today. He is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern." The publicist added, "Mr. Sheen asks that his privacy be respected at this time and that no additional informational will be provided."

CHARLIE SHEEN checked out of Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Thursday, the same day he was rushed in after suffering from abdominal pains. The actor's publicist told ABC News on Friday, "Charlie Sheen has left the hospital last night and is at home. He will be on the set of Two and a Half Men on Tuesday."

Extra reports Sheen left the facility around 10 p.m. The show also reports Sheen's pain stemmed from a hernia which got worse after he "laughed too hard while watching television." An Extra claims says Sheen told him, "I'm not dying." Tabloid reports had previously claimed Sheen had used cocaine prior to his hospitalization, although Sheen denies drugs had anything to do with the matter.

The Two and a Half Men star was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles Thursday, reports TMZ.com. Sheen was reportedly removed from his home on a stretcher around 7 a.m., about 25 minutes after 911 received a call. Two women were spotted leaving Sheen's home at the same time he was taken away. The actor also had a towel blocking part of his face when official arrived. Insiders claim 911 was called because Sheen was suffering from stomach pains. It's unclear who called 911.

Sheen's spokesman confirmed some details of the incident, telling ABC News Radio, "All I know is he was having severe abdominal pains and went to the hospital." (ABC)
