Summer is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to enjoy it with a refreshing Fruttare Fruit Bar. But wait, it gets better. Cher Lloyd and Ne-Yo are teaming up to unleash a brand-new song to celebrate the U.S. launch of the frozen treat company.

The tune is set to be released this summer, and both artists are stoked about the upcoming collab, which focuses on having a positive outlook on life. “I dug the [project],” Ne-Yo said in a press conference with TheDrop.fm earlier today (April 10). “I’m an upbeat, glass half full kind of person. So the hashtag, ‘#itsallgood,’ and looking at the brighter side of things are how I’ve always been. So it just made sense to do a project like this. Plus, I really like popsicles.”

“The first time I heard ‘Want U Back,’ I really, really loved that song,” he said of his collaborator’s smash hit. “I just dig her energy, and for this being what it is, it just made perfect sense for us to get together. Her positive energy, my positive energy — and besides, we like popsicles!”

The former British 'X Factor' contestant was also sure to express her excitement about joining Ne-Yo in the studio. “I grew up listening to [his] music. I did!” Lloyd confessed. “And I haven’t been doing this very long. It’s only been two years, and I’ve barely scratched the surface. So being part of something like this is a big deal to me.”

The best part? The duo need your help! Fans of both Lloyd and Ne-Yo are encouraged to share their ideas via Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms to help inspire the track.
