Tons of East Texan's waited outside and in the drive through of Chick-fil-A's in Lufkin and Nacogdoches. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee dubbed today appreciation day, and basically everyone in line is saying that they agree with the president of Chick-Fil-A's stance against gay marriage.

I drove by twice today, and the line of cars went to all the way to HWY 59 and the Loop then the other way all the way back to the stop light causing grid lock. Plus lines into the building were wrapped out around the side to even get in the door. I think the point has been made that standing by their values, has paid off for one day for them, especially here, but in the long run we will see. Boycotts against places like Starbucks have been going on for years over their stance in political and marriage issues and they seem to be just fine.
