If you are looking to really experience the Christmas season in the oldest town in Texas, a proper tour of homes is a good bet. There are so many historic spots to choose from to tour, and the Friends of Historic Nacogdoches have picked 5 locations that will really get you into the holiday mood.

You can tour lavishly decorated, historic homes during this highly anticipated Christmas event. This is a major fundraiser for the Friends of Historic Nacogdoches.

The event is on Saturday, December 10th from 1 pm to 5 pm. Tickets are just $25 and can be purchased at the Nacogdoches CVB or at the presenting sponsor, The Daily Sentinel.

5 Places To Tour In Nacogdoches, Texas This Christmas Season

For 2022 they will be featuring four homes and one historical church on the tour of homes. The Zion Hill Baptist Church Historic Site at 324 Lanana Street is first on the list. It will be amazing to see all the work that has been recently done there.

The second on the list is the SFA University President’s home. The "New House" was built on the site of the first building ever built on the SFA campus located on East Starr Avenue on the SFA grounds.

The Bradberry Home at 3018 Skyline Drive, the Tom and Kathleen Belanger Home at 620 Logansport Street, and the Henry Mast-Wayland Home at 216 North Mound finish out the tour.
