Take some time outdoors with the family, Friday August 31st at 7:30pm. Get to Festival Park, and see CoCo again for the first time, for free, outside! Find yourself a good spot on in the grass, and get ready to watch what amounts to a modern day classic. The Nacogdoches Parks are Recreation Department is making this happen, and it is a great family movie. Get there at 7, you can also bring your own lawn chair, and blanket to make it extra comfy.

Full disclosure I have not seen this movie. I know I did see it on Netfix, but I haven't seen it pop up in a bit. IF you are like me, and missed this one in theaters, this is the next best thing. I think it just means more when you get to see a movie with a large group of people. City of Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches Parks and Recreation, are really putting out some effort so you can have a fun, free, night out with the family.

I think this is a really novel idea, that's not going away anytime soon. The drive in movies are gone, but in Nacogdoches, we still like to see movies outside, like no one intended.
