Google "Conspiracy Theory" and here's what you'll get:

A belief that some covert but influential organization is responsible for a circumstance or event.

There are so many conspiracy theories blanketing our country in regards to coronavirus COVID-19, that there's no way to highlight them all. In fact, probably in the time I'm taking to write this piece, a new theory will surface somewhere. However, I'm not going to debate the validity of any of these theories. One, or several, of them might even be true, but the sheer volume of misinformation that we Americans have to pass through our BS filter every day, to determine our own core beliefs, is mind boggling.

I just want to bring to light a few of the theories that have been most intriguing to me.

Like this one as I found on the NPR website:

One version of this theory goes something like this: The COVID-19 pandemic is part of a strategy conceived by global elites — such as Bill Gates — to roll out vaccinations with tracking chips that would later be activated by 5G, the technology used by cellular networks.

So, if this one is something you'd prescribe to, then obviously you won't want to take the vaccine for COVID when it becomes available. However, the medical community claims to have debunked this one and state there's no way to include a tracking chip in a vaccination.

Another theory spotlighted by allianceforscience.com states that COVID was created as a biological weapon.

it was intentionally created by Chinese scientists as a biowarfare weapon. This theory that the Chinese somehow created the virus is particularly popular on the US political right.

The website goes on to state that the virus has entirely natural origins and totally debunks this theory.

Lastly, one of the biggest theories in America today, that coronavirus is about the money,is highlighted by the site medicalfuturist.com:

To the layman, vaccine-production seems like the greatest business in the world. Most everybody’s going to need it sooner or later, so that must be paid by someone. Truth is, the search for and the development of a new vaccine is a highly risky philanthropic endeavor.

I'm not saying that I believe or don't believe any part of any or all of these theories. I'm just saying they are "theories" and we might never learn the full truth behind all of this, and to quote Jack Nicholson, even if we did, we might be able to "handle the truth."
