New Denny’s Restaurant is a ‘Grand Slam’ With Lufkin Residents

The new Denny's that just opened in Lufkin in the last few weeks has made a grand slam impression on local residents.

When you pull up you probably won't find a parking spot or even a table, but the wait is well worth the amazing food!

They have the best build-your-own burgers for miles around and breakfast food that's to die for. The waiter pictured above, who had a hard time cracking a smile on camera, was making sure that everyone was having a great friendly experience and a fun time off camera, joking with customers as they waited to be seated; we need many, many more people like him all across Lufkin!

Just in case you don't know how to get to the delicious new Denny's, it's located on the west side of the new mega-plex style gas station, on the corner of 287 loop and 69. If you have kids make sure you stop in and eat on Tuesdays when kids eat free with the purchase of an adult meal! While you're there, check out their complete skillet meals for $8.99. The meal comes with a salad, skillet of your choice and a slice of delicious pie!
