If you have a family member that resembles the 'Queen of Tejano Music' Selena Quintanilla then you are in luck. As a part of the Heritage Festival in Downtown Lufkin on October 22nd, 2022, Lufkin Parks and Recreation is doing a Selena look-a-like contest.

Pay tribute to the queen by getting out the red lipstick and purple jumpsuit. Prizes will be awarded to the first-place winners in all age divisions, for this inaugural Selena look-a-like contest.

It is free to enter any division. Registration is open now until Friday, October 14th, 2022.

Contest Is Part Of The Selena Experience With "Chicos Del 512"

The Heritage Festival In Downtown Lufkin is from 2 pm to 8 pm. There will be live cultural entertainment, food trucks, artisan vendors, and activities for the kids.

There is a big reason that they are having this contest. The Chicos Del 512 Selena Tribute will be performing at the festival.

They perform all over the nation bringing the magic of Selena to a new generation of fans. They will be on their 2022 Dame Mas Kumbia Tour and making a stop in Lufkin.
