For only $5, you will experience a night of entertainment, the arts, and a competition you most likely never heard of before.

Saturday, (April 28th, 2018), a spirited competition will take place at the Nacogdoches High School Auditorium. We just got the details in a press release that you can see below, but as you can tell, this encapsulates a huge undertaking for these young actors.
The following is from a press release from Nacogdoches High School's Head of the Fine Art Department, Victoria Perry;

Tonight, 30 theatre students from Nac, Central Heights and Martinsville will meet in our Auditorium at 7pm. They will be sorted randomly into five groups, given a playwriting prompt, and will spend the next 24 hours writing an original play, directing it, rehearsing and teaching it. Tomorrow night at 7pm, the curtain goes up on their shows for a live audience.

This is the Red Eye Theatre Project, and this is our 8th year producing it. We would love for you to attend tomorrow night! House opens at 6:30 PM, and the curtain goes up at 7PM. Tickets are $5. This amazing student created play competition is not to be missed.

The plays are competing for "Judge's Choice" and "People's Choice" for Best Play. We have an awards ceremony where we will present Acting and Tech awards following the shows.

We hope to see you tomorrow night!
You're sure to feel the excitement in the air as these young actors put their skills to the test. Seems like a great way to spend the evening, especially for only $5.
