Yesterday, as I was scrolling through social media I saw a flyer that popped up on my feed about a new Farmer’s Market that is going to be opening in just a few weeks. There are so many talented and hard working people here in East Texas having another opportunity to purchase some of their goods is always a great idea, especially as this one is going to be pretty close to my house. The new Farmer’s Market coming to East Texas is opening up in Flint, TX on HWY 155.
The exact address for the Highway 155 Farmer’s Market will be 22053 HWY 155 S. Flint, TX 75762 (right next to Pop’s Honey Fried Chicken). The first day open for business will be on Saturday, September 3rd and their plan is to be open every Saturday beginning at 8:00am and staying open until noon.
What Local Products Will Be Sold at the Highway 155 Farmer’s Market in Flint, TX?
While the first Farmer’s Market in this location is still a couple weeks away, locals are working hard to get set up. I saw that McCurry Produce out of Jefferson, TX said they will be there selling farm raised produce, local raised USDA inspected pork, a variety of jams and jellies and lots of other goodies.
