Fly Dance Company From Houston To Perform Free In Lufkin, Texas

On Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 from 11 am - 2 pm come out to Jones Park in Lufkin for some free summer fun. It's Chalk Art Day and your kids will really enjoy the activities.

The Museum of East Texas is putting together chalk art activities for the kids. There will also be a free lunch provided at the event.

The Lufkin Jr Panther Cheer team will be there to perform for everyone, as well as many other activities available for the kids that come out to the park that day.

Free Event For Your Kids At Jones Park In Lufkin, Texas

During Chalk Art Day there will be a special performance by the Fly Dance Company: The Gentlemen of Hip Hop. Angelina Arts Alliance is putting this event on for everyone to enjoy free of charge.

The Fly Dance Company is based in Houston and they will bring their inspirational educational tour to the event. FLY is all about great dancing, while achieving their goal of making a positive social impact.

Their community outreach touches an average of 50,000 kids annually. FLY will be there to educate the kids on the benefits of being healthy and active through dance.

They integrate the positive parts of hip-hop culture into their routine and give some great information to the kids while doing it. They will also be teaching the kids about the history of hip-hop and involving them in the performance.

FLY has been spreading their infectious theatrical hip-hop around the world since 1992.
