Earlier this year, Brad Pitt spoke to to GQ in an extensive interview about his personal and professional life. In the interview, he talked about how Frank Ocean's music in particular was helping him through his divorce with Angelina Jolie. On Saturday night (July 22), Brad made a surprise appearance onstage with Frank as he performed a Stevie Wonder rendition of The Carpenters' "Close to You" at FYF Fest in L.A.

Pitt's gone through a highly publicized divorce with Angelina Jolie, and in the GQ interview he described the importance of Frank's music at the time. “I find this young man so special. Talk about getting to the raw truth," he said. "He’s painfully honest. He’s very, very special. I can’t find a bad one. And of great irony to me: Marvin Gaye’s Here, My Dear [Gaye’s touchstone album about divorce]. And that kind of sent me down a road.”
