As night falls, you start to see things a little bit differently. Things slow down, and you contemplate roasting your hotdogs on a stick. Get in on the action at the Fun in the Forest After Dark Event Tomorrow, Tuesday February 5th 2019 from 6pm-8pm. Tickets are just $5 and the Texas Forestry Museum has a great night planned for everyone.

Take a night hike on the Urban Wildscape trail, roast your own hotdog (I knew it!) over the campfire and learn about Smokey Bear while enjoying the great outdoors. If you are going to embark on this adventure, make sure and dress appropriately. They are recommending closed-toe shoes, warm clothing, and bringing a flashlight.

Tickets are limited so make sure to get your spot now. They would like to thank their event sponsors, Timber Pro Forest Service and E. L. Kurth Jr. Charitable Foundation, for making this event possible. Photos will be taken at the event for promotional materials. For more information call 936-632-9535.

This is a very East Texas night out, but in the city. If you are interested in this and other kid friendly events that they put on at the Texas Forestry Museum, just CLICK here and see all they have on their facbook page.
