‘Gaga: Five Foot Two’ Teaser: Inside the Life of One of Pop’s Most Unpredictable Artists
Lady Gaga has always been something of an enigma: from meat dresses to giant eggs to killing it at the Super Bowl, it’s impossible to predict what kind of inspired nonsense the artist will get up to next. A new documentary from Emmy-nominated Chris Moukarbel (Banksy Does New York, Me at the Zoo) attempts to give the viewer an inside look into Gaga’s life, from trips to the store to football games on her journey to create her most recent album Joanne.
Gaga: Five Foot Two (so named for the singer’s deceptively teeny stature) invites you inside her home life, visiting family, cooking with her grandmother, or working with her producers on music videos over the eight-month period during which she created Joanne, her most personal project yet. The film will have its world premiere at TIFF on Friday, September 8, before dropping on Netflix later this month.
Here’s the short synopsis:
From Walmart shopping trips to doctors visits to rocking the Super Bowl Halftime Show, it's Lady Gaga as you've never seen her in this revealing documentary. GAGA: FIVE FOOT TWO follows the superstar at her most vulnerable moments as she pushes through chronic pain, heartbreak and produces a soul-blooming album.
Gaga: Five Foot Two premieres on Netflix September 22.
