Gallery: Florida Principal Found A Creative Way To Honor Her 2020 Graduates

This is a beautiful story of when life gives you lemons you make lemonade.

While the 2019-2020 academic school year has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic it left many students who are graduating this year without any type of celebration to commemorate their accomplishments.

While we are still under 'Stay-at-Home' orders one Principal in Florida has found a creative way to honor her graduating class.

Fox News has reported that Farcia West, Principal of Poplar Springs High School in Graceville Florida, felt she had to do something special for her 30 seniors who are preparing to venture off into higher education.

I reached out to Principal West personally to talk about her token of appreciation to her students that have gained National attention.

What Principal West done was take the graduating seniors photos and create a row down the driveway leading up to the school.

She shared with me that seniors who are graduating this year were born around the tragedy of September 11th, 2001 and now they are facing another National epidemic so these children are destined for greatness.

The Seniors in the Class of 2020 were born at a time when our nation was in turmoil over 9/11, and now they face ending their lives under unprecedented adverse circumstances.  I know within my heart there is a master plan for this Class of 2020.  What was meant for ashes, these young men and women will turn into beauty. It’s no mistake they are the Class of 2020! I believe this class will have the vision it takes to change the world.

The presentation turned out to be a hit on social media as it received over 500 likes and over 300 shares and gained attention from visitors from Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi to view the pictures.

Kudos to Principle West for thinking outside the box for her students and congrats to the entire Class of 2020!

I am looking forward to how our graduating seniors will be honored in East Texas.
