Such a generous offer! If I had a million dollars, I would do the same. I'm surprised more celebrities haven't donated a large chunk of change like Gwen did.

Gwen Stefani is one star who puts her money where her mouth is -- she's donated a million dollars to Save the Children's "Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund" to help relief efforts in that country.

In a statement, Gwen said, "I've been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture. The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking and I want to do anything I can to help. I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years.”

But Gwen didn't stop there.  She's also designed a limited-edition t-shirt which will be sold through her band's website, NoDoubt.com.  100% of the proceeds will benefit relief efforts.  The t-shirt is part of Gwen's Harajuku Lovers line, which was inspired by the vibrant youth culture and fashion found in the Tokyo district known as Harajuku.  In addition, plans are being made for a charity auction and fundraising event.
