Boo Bash In Lufkin Promises To Be A Spooktacular Time
If you were a fan of the family-friendly downtown Lufkin trick-or-treat, something new has evolved from that event. The new event had a hiccup in 2022 and was canceled due to a severe thunderstorm and a torrential downpour.
Because of that, last year was the first year for the new Boo Bash on The Plaza, and everyone had rave reviews about this new way to celebrate Halloween in Lufkin. Get those costumes ready now so you don't miss all the fun.
For 2024 the event will be on Friday, October 25th from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Pitser Garrison Convention Center's Plaza. Visit Lufkin and the Museum of East Texas have teamed up to bring this free event to life.
Museum Of East Texas Brings Back Pumpkin Decorating
The Museum of East Texas is bringing back a fan-favorite from last year. Their Pumpkin Decorating activity/craft is perfect for all ages, since you decorate instead of carving a little orange gourd.
You can let your heart be your guide and create anything that sparks joy. They provide all of the pumpkins and materials for free.
The Most Important Part Of Halloween Is The Candy
Kids can enjoy some safe trick-or-treating, while walking to booths set up by area businesses. Everyone is encouraged to come in costume, but it's not mandatory.
