Help The Homeless in Deep East Texas

There is a group in Lufkin and Nacogdoches making a difference in the homeless communities lives. Blessing Bags For Nac put together bags filled with necessities for homeless adults and children to be freely given. This a great organization full of selfless thoughtful individuals. They are giving their own time and resources to make this happen. If you would like to join them in the cause, you are in luck.

They have a meeting coming up, and there you can find out what Blessing Bags is all about. The meeting is in Lufkin on Thursday March 18th, 2021 at 5:45pm at Grace Dunn Park in Lufkin. They have reserved a covered pavilion at the park. Everyone is invited to meet the team and discuss ideas about what to do next to further their cause. Kids are welcome to attend.

If you have a soft place in your heart for the homeless and needy population in our area, Blessing Bags might just be the organization for you. They will be asking for ideas, so come ready with a few of your own. They will also use this time to introduce new Co-Director Kim Faulkner.

This Nonprofit was created not only to help the homeless and needy in our area, but to also shine a light on the homeless problem in Lufkin and Nacogdoches. Though they might not be as visible as in big cities, they are out there, and they need to know they matter.
