As the middle of the month approaches, so does the delivery date of stimulus checks sent from the federal government to almost every person in the United States.  That almost thing has you a bit worried, doesn't it?

According to NBC News, the $2 trillion stimulus bill that the federal government passed last month was so rushed - lots of people will not be getting a check.  The money is set to be delivered via the same route tax refunds were this year, and therein lies the rub.

If you filed your taxes this year (or last year for that matter) the government will send you $1,200 ($2400 for married couples that filed jointly, and $500 for each kid) via the route your refund came or would have come (direct deposit or check in the mail).  Unfortunately, most college students, undocumented citizens (those without Social Security numbers) and some disabled adults will not be receiving this much needed financial shot in the arm.
