One of the biggest crazes in gardening meets the old, tried and true at the SFA Gardens. Succulents have really gained popularity over the past five to ten years. They are beautiful to look at, and with all the varieties there is something for everyone.

Houseplants are not just beautiful, they can also purify indoor air. Scientists recommend having at least two plants for every 100 square feet of indoor living space.

That sounds like a lot, but don't let it discourage you from getting a houseplant to get started. This SFA plant sale is a great way to get the perfect plant for your home.

Buy A Houseplant At SFA Gardens This Weekend In Nacogdoches

Stephen F. Austin State University's SFA Gardens houseplant and succulent summer sale is going on Saturday, July 9th, 2022 from 9 am - 2 pm in Nacogdoches. Any of the plants they have would make the trip to the Pineywoods Native Plant Center (PNCP) greenhouse at 2900 Raguet Street worth it.

Look for succulents, cacti, houseplants of different varieties, and a few other exciting odds and ends. This is a much smaller event than their regular semi-annual plant sales.

The specific selection of plants offered will be intended for indoor or special care. There will be limited parking at the PNCP greenhouse. For more information call 936-468-4404 or email sfagardens@sfasu.edu.
