Drive-Thru services are expected to be fast. The whole point of the drive-thru is so that you don't have to use extra time - especially if you're in a hurry - going inside, ordering, waiting on your food, and leaving.

Drive-Thru is such a prominent thing that there's even an annual study that analyzes the data and finds out how long it takes - on average - for customers to get their food. This study is called the SeeLevel HX Annual Drive-Thru Study.

This year, the study found that the average time spent at the drive-thru for Chick-fil-A is 488.8 seconds, which equals just over eight minutes. The average total time for all the restaurants was actually 356.8 seconds, which is just under six minutes.

Now, I will say this: I don't know that this study checked out our local Chick-fil-A branches, because the last time I went through, I'm pretty sure it didn't take eight minutes to get my food. Actually, I don't know that it's ever taken eight minutes there - even going inside to get it...

Maybe I'm just the exception to the rule...Who knows?

What about you? How would you rate our local CFA drive-thru service? Does it normally take you eight minutes to get your food? Or, does it take less time than that? Or, are you one of those people that is just satisfied with the food, so you haven't kept up with the time it takes? Let us know in the comment section below!
