Documentary Showing At Pines To Benefit Hudson Search And Rescue
Have you ever been in an impossible situation, hurt, missing, and far from a hospital? That is where our local search and rescue teams shine.
The Hudson Fire Department Search and Rescue Team is having a benefit this Saturday to continue providing that service. It's a great way to wrap up National Search and Rescue Week.
You can see an award-winning adventure documentary about one woman's harrowing fall that sparked profound thoughts. "Where The Rope Ends" will be shown at the Pines Theater in Lufkin, Texas on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 7 PM until 9 PM.

After a 60-foot canyon fall, Nichole, the main character in the movie, was found after a perilous volunteer search and rescue mission that brought her to safety. Her determination to regain her former life is the story at the center of the documentary.
This movie brings home the need for a local search and rescue team. Though we don't have many canyons around Deep East Texas, we find plenty of danger in the outdoors.
Help the Hudson Fire Department's Search and Rescue team by attending this movie showing at the Pines. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
