Why is Chick-fil-A messing with the classic breakfast menu we’ve all come to know and love? But okay, wait... plot twist! I actually fell completely in love with this new spin on breakfast.

While the new waffle sandwich and s'mores items have sparked mixed reactions online, I am here to deliver the final verdict: this chicken and waffles sandwich needs a permanent spot on the menu. More importantly, it must be ordered with the spicy filet. I don’t make the rules; my taste buds do. It turns out this is the exact sweet-and-savory combo the South has been begging for.

Chick-fil-A took a beloved comfort food classic and gave it that signature touch. The best part? You can get your fix all day long. They serve a breakfast-sized portion during standard morning hours and a larger entrée size from 10:30 a.m. to close.

The build features their iconic hand-breaded chicken tucked between two warm, maple-flavored waffles, topped with three slices of applewood smoked bacon and honey butter, plus a side of classic syrup for that essential drizzle.
