Submit Your Nomination for the Next Deep East Texas Community Rockstar

We teamed up with Zion Auto Glass and named our very first Deep East Texas Community Rockstar on April 16th. That was four months ago. Since then, 15 other people from the Deep East Texas area have been selected as Community Rockstars. And we're just getting started.

What is a Community Rockstar?

If you aren't familiar with the Community Rockstars, here's the quick rundown: These are people that are doing awesome things in the area to make Deep East Texas even better. I'm talking about teachers, business owners, volunteers, doctors, police officers, firemen, nurses, non-profit organizers...I could go on with the list, but you get the idea.

These are the people doing great things but aren't looking for the praise for it. They're doing it because they care about our community and want to see it succeed. Side note: There's no shortage of those people in Deep East Texas, and we're proving that each week when a new rockstar is selected.

Nominate a Community Rockstar Today

A new Community Rockstar is selected every Friday from our list of nominees. If they're selected, they receive a framed certificate from us here at the station and Zion Auto Glass and a gift certificate to Lone Star Charlies in Lufkin. They also get shout outs on-air and online, so that all of our listeners can hear about the awesome things that they're doing for Deep East Texas.
