Why Yellowstone Needs To Be On Your Bucket List
(Mix 93-1) Vacation time. We work hard to accumulate it, and then when we have enough PTO banked up, we make those plans to get out of town with the family for a few days, a week, or even longer if we can.
Why Yellowstone Should Be on Your Bucket List
We look forward to making new memories, getting away, and relaxing for a while.
Getting away from the daily grind and routine is something we all need. Taking a vacation allows us to leave the stress of the office behind, skip the yardwork, and any other 'chores' that we may have, and feel liberated because we don't have to worry about those things for a while.

Last week, my family and I went on vacation to the world's first national park. We were mesmerized by what Mother Nature created and continues to create in Yellowstone National Park. In a matter of minutes, I was surrounded by beauty in Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana, checking out some amazing views and wildlife.
Visiting Yellowstone has to be on your bucket list.
Wildlife Sightings You’ll Never Forget
There is so much wildlife to see - herds of bison and elk, wolves, birds, deer, chipmunks, and more. We were treated to a young bear cub sighting while driving through the park. The young bear was grazing beside the road as we looked on. My wife wanted to take it home with us because it was so cute.
Wildlife is abundant in this national park. When visiting the park, you can even see bald eagles, like we did.
What to Expect from the Geysers and Hot Springs
The big attractions, of course, are the geysers. We got to see Old Faithful erupt along with others around the area and saw the Grand Prismatic Spring and its beautiful colors from high above.
From checking out boiling and bubbling clay to smelling the foul smell of sulphur, you'll be in awe of what is on display all around you.
In addition to checking out some of the most amazing sights in the world, we also enjoyed white water rafting down the Snake River and some of the fun attractions in nearby Jackson, WY.
While I was having the time of my life taking in the show that the Earth was putting on, I was also missing a few things.

Although it may seem like I am complaining, I'm not. I had a memorable time, and I can handle foregoing those comforts for a few days for some great time away from my normal 'routine' with my family.
What are some things you miss while away on vacation? Send me an email anytime and let me know.
I sure hope you get the opportunity someday to visit Yellowstone National Park and get to see its beauty. It is well worth it. Just know you’ll do a lot of driving and walking to take it all in.
