Per CW33, a new scam involving puppies is growing in the Lone Star State. Results from a study by Outsource2india shows that individuals using dogs to gain access to people's personal information is higher. Data was collected from all over the nation.
How one falls victim to the scam is simple: an individual is tricked into thinking their buying a certain breed of dog. The scammer will use multiple different ways to trick the the person into providing sensitive info to buy a dog that simply doesn't exist.
Data was so even specific that the certain type of dog used in the scam could be identified. For Texas, bulldogs were the dog that was highly used. In addition, 687 scams were recorded, according to Outsource2india.
