Jack Sparrow Is Coming To East Texas On Friday For Geeks, Games, and Gadgets!

Making a recent appearance at a children's hospital only oceans away from us in East Texas was nice, but now you have your chance to meet Jack Sparrow right here in East Texas!

Simon Newton who acted as a photo double for Johnny Depp on the set of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies is coming to Geeks, Games, and Gadgets, which is only one week away! He's not alone, because GGG will also have other celebrity guests including IronE Singleton, who played "T-Dawg" from AMC's hit series "The Walking Dead," and Shane Lewis who was on "Naked and Afraid," and will be appearing on "Naked and Afraid XL" coming to Discovery this Sunday!

You know Jack Sparrow is one of those timeless and unforgettable characters that can fit in anywhere. He's appeared in video games, cartoons, and we think it's pretty cool that Johnny Depp and Simon Newton stay in character to bring smiles to the kids' faces. We think he'll fit right in at Geeks, Games, and Gadgets. It's all happening at the Nacogdoches Exposition and Civic Center, so you won't have to travel far to see him and maybe get a photo with him or any one of our celebrity guests.
