Jack’s Records And Tapes Is Now Home To A New Business In Lufkin, Texas

I remember searching for some classic vinyl at Jacks's Records And Tapes at 500 North Timberland Drive in Lufkin. This was just a few years ago and I bought a selection of really interesting albums.

Thanks to Jack's I have some really clean, classic records in my collection. Back in the day, this was the place to go to get new music.

With the rise of online music, places like Jack's are getting harder to find. Back in July of 2021 I noticed changes coming to the location, and now we see exactly what those are.

Jack's Records And Tapes Is Now In-N-Out Daiquiri 

Though people aren't buying much music in person these days, the drive-thru daiquiri business in Texas is booming. There is now a fresh, new sign up on the property along with a nice, new parking lot.

They modified the building to make a drive-thru window and the inside looks mostly complete. Now we are just waiting on a grand opening announcement.

Their Facebook says they will open up this month (February 2022), and there were cars there today. It seems Sly's In-N-Out Daiquiri will be open soon enough.

Will There Be BBQ At In-N-Out Daiquiri? 

There was word that the owner DJ Sly was also going to be selling BBQ from this location. Now seeing the dining room, that could also be a possibility.
