Two hip-hop greats are back in the top five of the Billboard 200 chart. On Monday (June 25), the albums from The Carters (Beyonce and Jay-Z) and Nas debuted in the top five.

The Carters' Everything Is Love album landed at No. 2 on the chart with 123,000 units moved, 70,000 of which came from traditional sales. As for Nas, his Kanye West-produced Nasir just cracked the top five, reaching the fifth spot.

Nasir marks Nas' first time in the top five since 2012 when Life Is Good debuted at No. 1. As for Hov, the Brooklyn rapper last had a taste of the top of the chart last year when 4:44 opened at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200.

 

In related news, Jay-Z and Beyonce will continue the European leg of their On the Run II Tour on June 28 in Berlin, Germany. The husband and wife duo will then kick off the North American leg of the tour on July 25 in Cleveland.

As for Nas, the rapper will be joining Lauryn Hill for six shows on her upcoming The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill World Tour. Nas will be making appearances with Hill in Holmdel, N.J., Las Vegas, Portland, Albuquerque, N.M., New Orleans and St. Louis.
