A little while back LeBron James did what LeBron James does best when, after taking New York City's subway system and telling the hometown team they should have drafted someone else, he traveled to Madison Square Garden to defeat the ascendant Kristaps Porzingis and the New York Knicks in epic fashion. He declared himself the King of New York with a hilarious Instagram post afterwards, and at a very recent Cleveland concert, his good friend JAY-Z returned the favor.

Addressing the Cleveland audience, Hov, who had linked up with LBJ at a Detroit concert the night before, recounted his convo with the living b-ball legend. "I'm with LeBron in Detroit last night. I said, 'Ay man, you my guy and all that. You can't be taking pictures in the Garden, talking about you're the King of New York,'" Hov remembered. "So I told him I'm coming to Cleveland, I'm the King of Cleveland now."

A couple of moments later, Hovi took a selfie with two fans he brought onto the stage with him. "I want y'all to take the first picture with the King of Cleveland," he said as he snapped the photo. You could say it was a moment.

In other Hov news, the rapper was recently nominated for a few trophies at the 2018 NAACP Image Awards along with Chance The Rapper. After getting incredibly introspective on his latest critically acclaimed album, 4:44, Hov's now got the chance to win Entertainer of the Year, Outstanding Male Artist and more at the star-studded awards show. Salute.
