Count actor-comedian Jim Carrey as a big-time fan of the In Living Color-inspired "Finesse (Remix)" video, recently released by Bruno Mars and the ascendant Cardi B.

"@iamcardib and @BrunoMars Great song, beautiful memories. Really gave me a kick. Spank you kindly!" Carrey wrote in a tweet that included a link to the incredibly popular new video.

If you didn't know, Carrey gained his first bit of large-scale North American fame while starring on In Living Color, a Keenen and Damon Wayans-produced sketch comedy show that featured plenty of colorful clothes, music and eccentric sketch characters. It also featured musical guests like 2Pac, Onyx, Eazy-E, Gang Starr and more.

In Living Color was one of the quintessential '90s TV shows, and that matches up perfectly with the tone of Bruno Mars' 24K Magic, an album that pays homage to the 1990s era of New Jack Swing, which featured plenty of music you could dance to. Needless to say, Bruno accomplished his goal.

The "Finesse (Remix)" itself is drenched in confidence, and the spirit of the '90s. "We out here drippin' in finesse/It don't make no sense/Out here drippin' in finesse/You know it, you know it," Bruno sings on the hook.

Check out Carrey's heartfelt tweet thanking Bardi and Bruno below. Peep the "Finesse (Remix)" video and the intro for the In Living Color intro theme beneath that.
