Has Justin Theroux moved on to one of his former costars? Not so fast, hopeless romantics!

Since more than a month of announcing his separation from actress Jennifer Aniston in February 2018, the 46-year-old actor has found peace in catching up with a few old friends, which includes his Parks and Recreation cast-mate Aubrey Plaza.

Theroux and the 33-year-old actress were photographed taking a stroll through the Big Apple Sunday (March 25) — the actor wheeling his bicycle on the sidewalk as Plaza trailed beside him — before the pair entered his New York apartment together, the Daily Mail reported on Thursday (March 29).

Theroux, who opted for all-black gear, sunglasses and a knitted cap, kept a low profile while out with Plaza, who also wore a low-key ensemble of a Barbour coat and baseball cap.

Despite suspicions of their casual outing, don’t expect to find the two stars canoodling in public anytime soon.

A source stated that Plaza’s meeting with the Leftovers player was strictly for business related and nothing more. “They are friends,” said the insider. “They went for a walk around after meeting and discussing a potential work project.”

In light of pictures surfacing that might’ve easily been misinterpreted as a romance in the making, another source close to Theroux explained the opposite. The actor has since moved on from his separation from Aniston, and has been more focused on reconnecting with old buddies than throwing himself back into the dating pool, asserted the source.

“Now, he’s apparently just enjoying the single life in New York and sticking to a pretty basic routine. He’s just doing his thing," they added. "He's been hosting and attending a lot of different friendly gatherings. He is trying to keep himself around friends a lot more than he used to — he’s not at home thinking about his divorce.”

Plaza’s love story, on the other hand, has long been linked to screenwriter Jeff Baena since the two worked together on the 2014 zombie flick Life After Beth.
