Katy Perry And Russell Brand Agree To Divorce Settlement
Katy Perry and Russell Brand have agreed to a divorce settlement. Court documents filed Tuesday in Los Angeles indicate that the ex-couple has reached a "comprehensive written settlement of all issues," including distribution of property, according to People magazine. Katy also has moved to legally restore her maiden name, Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson.
Katy and Russell did not have a prenuptial agreement in place, and he is not asking for any money from her.
Russell filed for divorce on December 31 under the heading of irreconcilable differences. The divorce won't become official until six months after that filing, under California law.
Katy and Russell married in October of 2010, in India. Their marriage lasted just as long as we could stomach it.
