So, quarantine has been pretty rough. With things shutting down, changing schedules, changing routines, having to wear masks, video conferencing, and more, it can be pretty hard to handle.

But, it's not all bad. No, seriously, go with me on this one.

With everything that's gone on during the COVID-19 pandemic, it's really caused a lot of us to slow down. With certain stores and events changing the way they do things, it's really given us a chance to get a breather.

Now, I will say this: I'm ready for things to go back to normal. I've had about all of the quarantine that I can take. If I don't have to go through a pandemic with shut downs and social-distancing, that's just fine with me. But, it's not all bad.

Really, take a look at what it's caused us to do. It's caused us to slow down, and it's caused us - at least people that I've talked to - to be thankful for the things that we had. Whether you want to admit it or not, I'm willing to bet that before all of this you were taking some things for granted. I know I was.

Meeting with friends in-person, going out to eat, going to the movies, going to concerts, NOT wearing masks...these were all things that we were able to do just a few months ago. Now...not so much.

But seriously, take some time to look at what this pandemic and this time of quarantine has brought about. It's brought about a time for us to take a breather, and will - or at least SHOULD - cause us to be a bit more thankful for the simple things in the future...

These are just a few of my thoughts...
