Lufkin Art Guild 2017 Spring Show & Sale

Artists and art enthusiasts in East Texas should check this out. There's an art Spring show and sale starting tomorrow (Thursday, May 4th).

The Lufkin Art Guild will host its 2017 Spring Show & Sale at Abram's in downtown Lufkin.

All local artists are invited to participate. Entry fees are $6 a piece for LAG members, and $7 apiece for members of other Lone Star Art Guild members. Students K-12 can enter for free. ALL work must be wired for hanging except for students K-12.

It begins Thursday May 4, starting at 4 PM and going until 7 PM. Volunteers are welcome to help hang the art up as this will be the primary set up for the show.

The second day of the event will begin a little earlier, opening their doors to the public at 1 PM on Friday, and lasting until 6 PM.

Then on Saturday, the art critics/judges and the artists themselves will go over the pieces early in the day.

The doors will open to the public at 1 PM , and their will be a reception with live music and free snacks from 5 - 7 PM.
