Nacogdoches Woman Suffers Severe Burns In Grease Fire
A Nacogdoches woman is recovering from severe burns after she was caught in a house fire. According to KTRE, the house fire near Appleby on County Road 200 happened on Memorial Day.

Nacogdoches County Sheriff Jason Bridges stated that a grease fire started in her kitchen. The woman had been cooking when the fire broke out in her home.
She was burned on her hands and arms. The grease got very hot, so it was taken from the inside part of the house and thrown into the garage.
It then erupted into a larger fire. The woman is now in fair condition.
