New Year, New Job? Texas City On List of Top 10 Best for Jobs [LIST]

Is "new job" or "dream job" on your list of resolutions this year?

There is something so fresh and promising about a new year. It's a clean slate. A new chapter that has yet to be written. This can mean many things for different people. For some, it means getting a new job, or dare we say, the dream job.

According to WalletHub, there are some cities that are better for that in 2017 than others.

The website measured 150 of the most populated cities across the country and ranked them from best to worst when it comes to jobs. Included in their data was opportunities for prospective employees, potential for growth for the employee, and the average income of employees. These were just a few of the 23 areas WalletHub deemed deciding factors in job-market strength.

With that in mind Plano, Texas came in second on the list, making them the second-best city for jobs in the U.S.

4. Sioux Falls, South Dakota

5. San Francisco, California

6. Rancho Cucamonga, California (Also on my top ten list of fun city names to say)

9. Tempe, Arizona

10. Raleigh, North Carolina
