“It’s supposed to be a good time for those all around. We want to make it an annual event that the people of Nacogdoches can look forward to, “ says Alison Baran, Sigma Kappa Omega’s philanthropy chair. “We already have several town officials lined up to judge the bracket system, and a few big prizes at the end.”

The prizes include TVs, PlayStations, and other cool items. Bring money for the event and your FUN self. If you want to compete, spots are filling up quickly so follow the Facebook event and get in contact with one of the team members, letting them know you’re interested. It’s 5 people max per team and you’ll only be going against those in your weight class once you sign up for the preliminaries.

Tickets will be sold at the door and through SKO affiliates. Come out and join the fight against Alzheimer’s. For more information call 281-961-5996 or go through the Facebook event page named “Smack Down Alzheimer’s”
