Every year, around the end of August and the beginning of September, people in Nacogdoches flood to Homer Bryce Stadium on the SFA campus for one purpose: To go watch the SFA Lumberjacks play football. Hopefully, by the time we reach August this year, they will be doing the same thing that they do every year. As long as there aren't still COVID-19 postponements or cancellations, the SFA football schedule will look like this:

  • Sept. 5th - Alababama A&M
  • Sept. 12th - SMU
  • Sept. 19th - Lamar
  • Sept. 26th - Abilene Christian
  • Oct. 3rd - Sam Houston
  • Oct. 10th - Nicholls
  • Oct. 24th - Central Arkansas
  • Oct. 31st - McNeese
  • Nov. 7th - Southeastern Louisiana
  • Nov. 14th - UIW
  • Nov. 21st - Northwestern State

The underlined games are the home games that will be played in Nacogdoches at Homer Bryce Stadium. Also, official kickoff times for the games have not been announced just yet, so that's why dates are only listed, and not times.

We are just under four months away from the kickoff of SFA football, but that doesn't mean that it's not too early to start planning for football season already. You can find more information about the games by keeping up with SFAJacks.com, where you can also buy tickets if needed.

And - as always - you can catch all the action by tuning in to Classic Rock Q107 at 107.7 on your radio dial. You know, just in case you can't make it to the game in-person. Now you've got the dates, put them in your calendar, planner, whatever, and get ready for Lumberjack football!
