New Custom Quesadillas Restaurant Opens In Nacogdoches
Dillas Primo Quesadillas just had their grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on October 16, 2024 with the Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce. Their newest location is at 2829 North Street in the old Shipley's building across from Chick-fil-A.
They are now officially open in Nacogdoches, and the growing chain has an interesting concept. Just like building your own bowl at Chipotle or a sandwich at Subway, you can now do the same with your quesadillas in Nacogdoches.
This is their first East Texas location, and they have the stomachs of SFA students firmly in their crosshairs. They are already enjoying huge support from the entire Nacogdoches community.
This Isn't The First Or The Last Dillas Quesadillas
This new restaurant chain was founded in the Dallas area. There are now (including Nacogdoches) 8 locations according to dillas.com.
They have three locations in Louisiana. One is in Bosier, two are in Shreveport, and the rest are in North Texas.
The founder is Kyle Gordon and the owner of the Nacogdoches store is Pete John. The Dillas Quesadillas dream started when Kyle ate at Chipotle restaurant in Austin for the first time while attending college at the University of Texas.
Build Your Own Concept Starts Idea For Dillas Quesadillas
He noted their build-your-own concept and combined that idea with his love for quesadillas. He loved them so much at his favorite Mexican food spot that he started making them at home. That led to him opening his first Dillas in Plano.

Kyle got the name from a Napolean Dynamite quote. In the 2004 movie, Napoleon's grandmother says "Make yourself a dang queso dilla!" (Pronounced Dill-uhs)
