Every time Western mainstream media acknowledges Korean music in some small way, we move closer toward bridging the cultural gaps that still exist between us within the global village. Or...something like that. Anyway, Family Guy featured some K-Pop last night!

Last night's (January 3) Korean-themed episode Candy, Quahog Marshmallow — which included special guest voice acting from Margaret Cho! — followed Peter, Cleveland and Joe as they discovered an old VHS tape of a drama called Winter/Summer, starring their friend Glenn Quagmire (giggity) back when he lived abroad in Korea. "Unable to find the final tape of the series, the guys travel to Korea to find it and Quagmire is reunited with his old lover," KSiteTV reports.

While the guys are watching TV, the video for K-Pop troupe SISTAR's 2014 Touch N Move smash "Touch My Body" suddenly appears on the screen. "What is this, and how can I make the rest of my life about it?" Peter asks, effectively speaking for every person who has ever discovered K-Pop for the first time.

And that's not all!

4Minute breakout solo star HyunA also (unintentionally) gets in on the fun during the episode, as Peter briefly sings an English spoof of her 2011 super-hit, "Bubble Pop!" Evidently, someone on the writing team is a big K-Pop fan. And for that, we're eternally grateful.
