Spring Soccer Registration Is Now Open

If you have a child ages 4*-17* in the Angelina County area that loves the sport of soccer this is your chance to get them on the field. The Angelina Youth Soccer Association has been around since I was a kid, and has an amazing program for your children.

The Angelina Youth Soccer Association is a non-profit organization created to promote, coordinate, and administer youth soccer in our area. They had over 400 players in their Fall league. Hopefully Spring leagues will have just as much interest.

I played soccer when I was a kid and actually like it better than baseball. I wonder if it was because of ANYSA?

Get Your Child Registered in Soccer In Lufkin

Last year they started using a new registration platform called GotSport. It seems to have really streamlined the process for the organization.

You can make a username and password and then start the registration process. Register as soon as possible to guarantee your child a spot on a team.

Be prepared to provide a copy of your children's birth certificate to register to verify their age. Registering after January could include a late fee and cause the cost to go up an additional $25 per player. Registration is usually around $55 to $95 and varies by season.

Angelina Youth Soccer Association In Need Of Coaches

They are always in need of coaches. You can register to be a coach and start the background check process on the same website.

With soccer much like baseball, there are field conditions to take into consideration. Luckily they have up-to-the-minute updates via text to keep you informed. Just send ANYSA19 to 84483 and you will be signed up for the text alerts. Games are played at Kit McConnico Park in Lufkin.

They also have a fall league, so be ready for that one coming soon. If your child isn't old enough to do it this time, they might be in the fall.
