Start Memorial Day Weekend With Nac Snack Friday In Nacogdoches, Texas

I am like everyone else looking forward to an extended weekend to enjoy the freedoms that our forefathers fought and died for. In The Oldest Town In Texas, the celebration starts with Nac Snack Friday on May 27th, 2022.

It is held in the downtown square and there will be food trucks in that area starting at 11 am. They will all start serving at that time and keep going until they are sold out.

Look for the following food trucks to make an appearance.

• Shali's Indian Kitchen
• Mama Rose Italian Ice
• Fee's Treats
• Spud Station
• Bobby's Smokehouse
• White Farmhouse Baking Co.

Live Music And Food Trucks In Downtown Nacogdoches

All that food will give you the energy to enjoy some live music. This month they are featuring Ben Theiring and 10 Miles Deep.

They are a full party band and will be there to rock the brick streets. They will be playing an eclectic mix of music from the Beatles to Luke Combs, and Nickleback to Hank Sr along with a few popular hip hop covers mixed in.

Pilar Street will be closed from 5 pm to 9 pm for seating for the show. Bring your own chairs or just stand up and dance the entire time.

The Nacogdoches Classic Car Club will also be out showing their beautifully kept vehicles. If you are into automobiles this will provide some much-needed eye candy in downtown.
