In 1979 this modern masterpiece was built as the corporate headquarters for Temple Eastex, Inc. Now fast forward to 2021.

It sat vacant for quite a long time. Hicks-Co Real Estate Development has started leasing out office space inside the building to other businesses.

This building in Diboll is now home of the offices for Hicks-Co. There are great things on the horizon for this amazing work space.

What Is It Called

Still bearing the Southern Pine Plaza name at the main entrance reception desk, the building has gone through renovations and is ready to be rented out in sections.

There aren't many businesses in the Lufkin/Diboll area that could use 107,000 square feet of office space by themselves. So their is a lot of square footage to rent out.

The building originally had an employee cafeteria that served 200 meals a day. That space will one day soon become a restaurant.

Get Buff While You Work

There is also a fitness center on site. It was known as the Temple-Eastex Health Center/Fitness Center, and had a pool next door.

I know amazing architecture when I see it. I remember going to the building as a kid in school and the lobby making a lasting impression on me.

It seems to be an inspiring atmosphere to work in every day, and would be the office space to have if you are interested in natural light, open spaces, and room to grow. Your clients would be super impressed.
