The giant retailer announced new safety measures will launch in all of their stores Saturday, April 4th. Target made public its new safety measures to aid the decrease of coronavirus. The safety measures include limiting guests into their stores and providing team members with masks and gloves.

On Saturday, April 4th, Target stores will start monitoring and limit the number of customers allowed inside its stores. In a press release, the company said the limited number of guests will be determined by the square footage of the store. There will be designated waiting areas set up outside the store, make sure you mind the social distancing markers. Target will also continue to follow the recommendations by the CDC.

Target COO and executive VP John Mulligan said in a statement “We’re incredibly proud of the commitment our more than 350,000 frontline team members have demonstrated to ensure millions of guests can count on Target, and we’ll continue to focus our efforts on supporting them,”
