Taylor Swift shut down an interviewer who asked her a sexist question about having children.

During a radio interview with Germany's RTL last week, the "ME!" singer was asked whether turning 30 years old is a "turning point" in her life and if she plans on settling down with her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, any time soon. Swift was clearly not impressed with the question and blatantly refused to answer like the queen that she is.

We translated her response so you don't have to—and here's what she had to say: "I really do not believe that men will be asked this question when 30. So I will now not answer that."

Instead, she provided us with a refreshing answer about why our twenties are so important. "I hear others say that one in his thirties no longer has as much stress and anxiety in life as in my twenties, and I can join in the observation that we are in our twenties looking to gain experience, try things out, fail, make mistakes," she explained.

Elsewhere in the interview, the pop star also opened up about her upcoming album, revealing there will "definitely" be political overtones in her new music and that it's really different from her last album, Reputation.

"I'm not going to stop, to move young people to choose and try to young people to be... to have a say in what's going on in our country," Swift said. "I think that's one of the most important things I could do. "

"[Reputation] really got to the bottom of dark emotions, and I think it can be complex and interesting to find its way through," she added. "But on the other hand, love and passion are just as complex to explore as a songwriter."
