Out of the 2,781 billionaires, 29 of them are from Texas. The list uses all the data they can find to estimate people's net worth.

Their wealth fluctuates, so this snapshot was taken on March 8, 2024. Forbes uses evaluations of their companies and holdings, among other factors, to make their best guess at what these individuals are worth.

Texan Michael Dell's Net Worth On The Rise

Billionaire Michael Dell is from Houston and now lives in Austin where Dell is headquartered. A true Texan in every respect, and is the richest person in Texas.

He comes in at number 16 on the new list, and his net worth is estimated at a staggering 91 billion dollars. I'm typing this on a laptop, with a big Dell logo on it right now, so we know where the funds came from.

This Texan Got Rich Off Of Getting You Loose

If you ever drank some Tito's vodka, you contributed to the net worth of Bert "Tito" Beveridge. He was number 140 in 2023 on the list and was worth 7.2 billion dollars.

Beveridge has now fallen to number 403, at a net worth of $6.8 billion. Those numbers show that the richest people in the world are just getting richer.
