A Texas inmate was executed on Wednesday (Sept. 25) for the murder of his wife and stepsons, as well as the rapes of his two stepdaughters. Robert Sparks, who claimed to have a mental deficiency, according to EastTexasMatters.com. He murdered his stepsons and wife back in 2007 at their home in Dallas. Harold Sublet, who was 9-year-old and 10-year-old Raekwon Agnew were stabbed to death, along with their mother Chare Agnew, who was stabbed 18 times. Sparks also raped his then 12-year-old and 14-year-old stepdaughters. Sparks, who was the 16th inmate executed in the U.S. this year and 7th in Texas, was given a lethal dose of pentobarbital. He was pronounced dead at 6:39 pm.
