Perverted Texas Man Arrested For Putting Merchandise Up His Kilt
In Spring, Texas on Thursday, February 8, 2024, The Antique Gallery of Houston had a very unwanted customer. No shop owner should ever want to have to deal with this.
A man, later identified as Mitchell Vest, was caught on multiple cameras putting items in the store up his kilt. He would then put the items back on the shelves.
Cameras In Antique Booths Led To An Arrest
The surveillance footage was then used to help authorities find Vest. According to Fox 26 Houston, manager Susan Golden was shocked while reviewing the footage.
"I had to watch it a couple of times to be sure I knew what I was looking at," Golden said.
After managing the massive 85,000-square-foot shop for 20 years this was a first for her.
Golden admitted, "I've seen quite a few things here...but not that."
The shop had to throw away the tampered items, and that led to deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office issuing a warrant.
Concerned Citizes Worked With Police To Identify The Suspect
After getting multiple calls from concerned citizens the Constable Investigators were able to figure out that the individual was Mitchell Vest. Since the antique store had to dispose of all of the merchandise he touched, the Constable Deputies were able to charge him once arrested.
He was quickly located and arrested on February 15th for the offense of criminal mischief. Many were shocked that the charge only had a bond of $100.
Soon he will have his day in court, but there isn't much left to the imagination about what was going on in the video.
